Teen Takeover Open House  

Sunday, September 14th 2pm-6

Teen Takeover is a weekly hangout of mostly homeschooled teen staffed/hosted/attend by teens. They cook meals and cookies for each other (sometimes) play games, and create goofy and kind IRL community. Its a welcoming group, but 9/14 will be especially welcoming! 

Collage Party! (hosted by Zoe)  

Saturday, September 13th 4-8 P.M.

BAA alum and sometimes staff member and likely future president, Zoe de Pedro, will host another one of their packed and popular art making parties. All materials provided, but feel free to bring some more collage materials (old magazines, books, wrapping paper, tissue paper) or any objects you’d like to cover with collage.

Dungeons and Dragons Intro Session

Friday September 5th 3:00-5:00

New To Dungeons and Dragons and Want to jump in? BAA student and Dungeon Master Zesh Anderman will leader a special campaign that both newbies and seasoned players will enjoy. Young and old have been enjoying role playing games since the 80s, and lately parents have been loving finding non-screen game options for their kids that build creativity and community.

Home School Movie Night!  

Friday  September 5th 5:00-9:30

Join us for a DOUBLE FEATURE of 2 wonderful movies you and your child have likely never seen and will remember forever. Come watch a movie or two and eat way too much popcorn and pizza.

We are still taking suggestions for which movies to screen. Top choice for the second movie screened so far is “K-Pop Demon Hunters”

Brooklyn Apple Open House and Pasta Making Lessons!

Wednesday September 3rd 11:00-5:00

Come check out our facilities, use the art room, wood shop, kitchen, library, and board game collection and spend a day making stuff and playing with your fellow homeschoolers.  

Noah will be on-site offering lessons on pasta making, with the option of making sweet potato gnocchi (GF or Gluten!)
