Explorer’s Club 2024
We'll be visiting a few of BAA's all-time favorite destinations such as: Croton Dam, Governors Island, Museum of the Moving Image, Liberty Science Center, and the Beach!
We will be geocaching, journaling, orienteering, and finding our way through the best fun the Tri-state area has to offer. The hours are from 9:00 am -3:00 pm. We will be taking public transportation most days. Pick-up and drop-off will be at Borough Hall, in Brooklyn.
Students should be sure to bring packed lunches.

Location: THE WHOLE CITY! (Drop off & pick up @ Borough Hall, Brooklyn)
Cost: Weekly: $550, Drop-In: $115/day.

Run a Luncheonette! (this year mostly at Brooklyn Apple HQ)
The camp is led by veteran chef, puppeteer and teacher Erin Orr and Noah Mayers.
We have access to a real New York City gem: The Sunview Luncheonette. The Sunview is a former diner turned venue for arts, community and food. We have the use of the luncheonette for the whole week, to cook in, eat in, and use as our base. On Friday we will open our doors as a luncheonette and serve a Fancy meal to parents. This is the 9th year of Luncheonette camp!
IMPORTANT NOTE!
This year there is NO G train service, making getting to the Luncheonette TOO hard for 5 days a week! We will cook at Brooklyn Apple HQ in South Slope for 4 days and serve our final meal at the Luncheonette on Friday, July 26th.
We mostly focus on gluten free and vegetarian fare.
